Progress Update | 14/09/2020
A wonderful morning to all of you beautiful and cute people out there in the world!
Another week, another progress update!
As some of you may have seen, two betas for 0.14 are already out. This means that I'm actually still on time for my usual release schedule - maybe a few days behind - but overall it's looking like everything is working out this month. No promises though. What I can promise is the usual teaser post once the third beta is out!
It looks like 0.14 is going to be a very big update in terms of content. The first two days combined are already longer than the first three days of 0.13. I'm not sure if all days will be that long but just to give you guys a little insight: One day is usually ~1500 lines of code. The first two days of 0.14 are both ~2200 lines of code - each! And those days are already packed with lots of emotions. But I don't want to spoil you guys too much, you'll see it when you play it!
I know I promised to slow a bit down and I'm really trying but it's difficult - I love writing stuff for My New Family so slowing down apparently means way longer days than usual. I hope that is alright for you guys, but I'm sure it is because longer days means more time with your favorite girls!
And as you can see I also attached two more renders for My New Memories. Both of them will be featured ingame, like all of the ones you've seen in these last few weeks.
I think that's it for this week! I hope you guys are doing alright with the pandemic, I know it's still pretty bad in some places. Stay safe and stay tuned for the teaser post! You don't want to miss that one!

I had the feeling that the first two days were going to be super important given some dialogues in the last 2 or 3 days of 0.13. That made the hype go woooooo out the window XD
And I was wondering: since pregnancy is already coming into play with pretty much every girl of the "main cast" except for Elaine who is still a W.I.P. in the love department, are we close to the end of MNF? If we are I'm both happy and sad (a lot more sad than happy, honestly...). Happy because we get to see the epilogue and I really wonder how's that gonna be, and I just suppose that I will get some Sisterly Lust vibes from it AND we'll be able to see My New Memories come to life after so many teasers. And sad because... well... I don't know how to exactly put this into words but MNF is my "going back home" game. Y'know, I spend the month playing other games as their updates come out (specially the ones who are updated like once every 3 or 4 months god knows why, since they probably have as much resource as you do, Killer) and it's funny... when I realize that we're already at the last days of the month and then I take a peek at Patreon or here on Itch.io and see the posts of the progress update with the release dates or a pre-release one, meaning that the public one is right around the corner, there's a special feeling of "It's time to go back home" that always warms my heart.
I don't know if that's because you're pretty much the only (or one of few) devs that ACTUALLY release content in a consistent and fair manner or if that's because MNF is pretty much my favorite game currently. I told you before and I will repeat it: this game is amazing, you're amazing as well Killer, and you have every right to be proud of everything you achieved. Never forget that.
I have looked forward to every update of this game so far more then I have any other recent game. I am very glad and very appreciative that you are releasing the updates for free since I have no money to be able to support you, as much as I very much want to given how much enjoyment this game has brought me. I hope that you continue to work on this game until you are fully satisfied with it and it is considered complete in your eyes, you have done amazing work so far and I am very glad you are still working on this game so diligently.
