Hello there you wonderful and very wholesome people!

Another week, another progress update!

Let's jump right into the games again!

As some of you may have noticed, the second prequel Beta is now available for all $5 and higher tier supporters. You can grab it from the Discord, like usual, or you can send me a message here and we'll figure something out. The second day already got a lot of positive feedback and I'm more confident now that I'm going in the right direction with this prequel. The next prequel release/beta is going to be even more important because ingame, the weekend will start and that means the MC has more time to spend with the girls... Or with one girl, if you the player decided to romance her. That is going to be very interesting once the prequel girls appear in the main game. I will have to find a way to make you, the player, decide if you romanced her in the prequel or not and then make the dialogues for each girl depending on that decision. Because even if you didn't romance any of them, they will still appear at some poin in time. Especially characters like Rei, Lea and Katharina will be very important for the main game, at least in later chapters. I'm already making good progress in terms of writing for the next prequel release and like I said in the Steam page post, there might be a demo for you to try out coming soon! Todays render is Rei and Amelie in their dorm room, having a nice chat with the MC ( happens on the 2nd day! )

The prequel was not the only thing I worked on, of course, because I really felt like I wanted to do more for Chapter 4 again. This is the good thing ( at least in my opinion ) when you work on two games ( or in my case three if you count MNF2 in ), when you have a bit of a writers block for the first one, you can switch over to the second one. I'm currently writing a wholesome event that involves Sabrina and the MC being alone. They will catch up on a lot of things that have happened in the past, not related to the prequel but more in general. With the MC having all of his memories back Sabrina felt like a huge burden was lifted off her shoulders. You probably remember how she acted in the hotel and later on, when the MC returned home as well. She wanted to do too many things at once, be there for her nieces, support her sister and mother, help her brother and of course deal with the trauma that the person who is like a true big sister to her was in a coma. The MC will think for a short moment that just because Anna is awake now, no one will recognize what Sabrina did for him and the others. She had to fill so many roles and that is something the MC appreciates a lot about her. I know I love to talk about Anna and that I want to include her in almost every scene I'm writing for chapter 4, but this will be a moment just for the MC and Sabrina. Once this event draws to it's end Sabrina will change a bit personality wise - At least regarding Karla, Caroline and Emily. She will not feel exactly like the MC, but it's moving into this direction, where she will fully recognise them as members of the family after all this time. Just an overall wholesome event.
