The game focusses a lot on character interaction and dialogues but also contains NSFW animations for your pleasure. The game is still in development but I hope the current version is good enough to give you a first impression.

IF YOU GET AN ERROR MESSAGE HIT ROLLBACK A FEW TIMES, THIS MOST LIKELY HAPPENED BECAUSE I DOWNGRADED RENPY. JUST HIT ROLLBACK UNTIL YOU SEE PICTURES AGAIN!
Please make sure to Finish 0.14 before you start the newest version. Every version after 0.14 contains everything you need so you don't have to finish those in order to continue right away. But you have to finish 0.14 first and save when the game tells you to save in order to progress!
Important information for everyone that is playing My New Family on mobile and has updated to Android 11: With Android 11 the persistent save file method doesn't work anymore. This means that now you have to manually backup and copy your savegames over. Your old savegames are still there, however, and here is what you have to do to access them. First, download a file manager app. A good one is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.explorer . It will let you browse all the folders on your phone. Now, to access your old savegames, navigate to Android/Data/Renpy/MyNewFamily-somenumbers. Inside this folder are your savegames. Mark all the savegames you want to copy over. Now, navigate to Android/Data/my.n.family/files/saves. This is the folder where you have to paste all the savegames you just copied. You probably have to create this folder yourself if you didn't try to start the game yet. That's it, now your savegames should work under Android 11 as well! Just make sure to back them up each time before you install a new version. To do this, simply move the savefiles from Android/Data/my.n.family/files/saves to a different folder, delete the app, install the new version and paste them back in.

Is the game still active?
it’s a great game, but the stuff like “household” and “landlady” is kinda weird, kinda as if you put “family” and “mom” first, and then replacing them with ctrl+f. i’d love for a way to edit the words like “landlady”, just like you can choose your name
I haven't played in a long time, Which do i download to get the full experience? 0.14, Epilogue or Xmas Special? They all have different sizes and are individually listed...Do I download ALL of them!?

I don't have an exact release date yet but the first chapter will 100% release this year.
Can't install 0.14, as it says it's incompatible with my phone, which is a Motorola Razr 2024. I tried a few workarounds, but no dice. The epilogue version installs fine, but obviously is missing save files. Until this is fixed, it is essentially unplayable on the newest Android version.
I'm on it right now and will upload a fixed version for newer android devices later this week, I have to recompile the PC version and make it smaller again so it will fit into one .apk. Sorry for the trouble!

0.14 isn't compatible with my s24 and when I try to play the epilogue it tells me I need a save file from 0.14
I have the same issue, despite attempting multiple workarounds to get the first version to install on my Razr 2024. "This app is not compatible with your phone."
Unless patched, this basically makes this entire thing unplayable on modern androids.

the game is too big apparently to be sensibly uploaded as one file so he has split it in two. 0.14 is the first half of the story and "epilogue" is the second half

Yes, My New Family 2 will eventually come out. The hard drive containing the files to make the sequel were confiscated by German police, for a non-related reason. In other words, it had NOTHING to do with the Devs Adult Visual Novels. To date, they have not given the Dev back the things they confiscated.
So when is the update on my new memories coming out?

Unable to install epilogue on mobile. Both versions finish saying 'app not installed'.
Is there any news about the next chapter of mnf, all I've seen for a long time is updates on the other game but not even a whisper of mnf
MNF is finished. Due to creator's personal circumstances they had to finish it the way they did (can be found if you search for it, but it's a bit much to explain; you can find an explanation from someone in a reply to one of my previous comments too). It's unfortunate, but life happens.
Look for an update around 18/09/2023 to explain things a little. I think his patreon has a better explanation.

I just checked around the time for the updates and he still said he was gonna continue with mnf, specifically with mnf 2 which is what I was meaning when I asked about mnf, sorry for the confusion

Given that there would be a lot of shared assets, that may have also caused a lot of delay for mnf 2.

Sorry if you just aren't strong with English, but that honestly didn't make sense. Also, I'm not sure it would have answered my question anyway. Granted, I didn't understand you, so I'm not sure either way.
To clarify, there are two versions of the prologue, some people are confused by it, can someone please clearly explain what any difference is between them.
0.14 first begin which chapter 1 of the game chapter 10 on Epilogue i was trying to say dev seperated cause of the coded wasn't able enough space cover more then 10 chapter someone probably explained better but i wasn't trying confused you
OK, but that still doesn't answer why there are two epilogues. Unless you're saying the epilogue is in 2 parts, in which it wasn't quite clear again.

if you're talking about the apk, then I have no idea. the other versions you only need one. I'm on win and I did .14, epilogue, then xmas cuz why not. and I just got lucky that the order was right for those.
Scenes stutter very badly, first game ive had this issue, is there a way on my end to fix? Am i the only one having this issue?

I cant import my save to epilogue from the 0.14 windows version i played via joiplay. It just throws an error when i try to load it. I couldnt install the android version of 0.14 because it says incompatible version either. Any way to get a full nice options save that will work with epilogue because it says I can't start a new game, only import a save

I just started to play the game.... God I wish there was an option to tell the "landlady" to Fuk off reaaaally nice, I mean, the game and the mod tells you to be nice and all, but it left a bitter taste to be "forced" to hug the btch and forgive her for 15 years of abandonment while she was living in riches and fuking to her hearts content birthing 2 daugthers while you left to rot by yourself just after a 2 min sob story, that doesnt make the MC a "good" person nor a "forgiving" one, it just make him a pusy and a wimp
And that is not the only thing wrong with the game. There are other places where the choices are lame, like not being able to hate the new bed room, not being able to totally dislike the grandmother, and not being able to go see his dad. i could go on.

Working on too many games, and RL life is impacting the dev. Be surprised if any of his three games get finished.
What is the order? Having an epilogue before the game is finished doesn't really make sense.
its quite simple, he's abandoned this game, threw together this Epilogue to sum up a lame end to the story and moved on, MNF wont be getting anymore updates which is a shame because it has so much more potential

He's got a legal issue surrounding the game, so until it's resolved yes it's technically abandoned. He's wanting to start on the next one once the issue is resolved from the bits and pieces I've gathered from his many updates

Last time I played and got to this position, my father was alive, and I hated every minute of it. This time, well my father passed quite some time ago, and all I can do at this part of the game is cry...

Hey! Your updates have been very regular and now nothing for nine days. Is everything okay?
APK of 0.15 will not work on non-rooted devices using android 12 or newer due to Google locking everyone out of system files with no workaround. any attempt to use update feature gets "App not installed as package appears to be invalid". you can install it separately but you have no access to the original saves so the game will not play.
There is nothing the dev can do other than maybe make this whole game an update to the original for android. Not their fault. Google is the villian here. The dev has a full harem save on their discord that you can use for pc, your only real option now for android 11 and newer devices.
