Hello there you amazing people on itch.io!

Don't worry, the update will be here soon. If you want to get weekly updates on the progress on both of my games, check the link in the games description that will lead you to the My New Family devlog. There you will always get the latest news regarding work on my games!

But there is a more important thing I have to talk about here today on itch.io. As some of you know, the game is also available on Steam. Steam has a policy where you have to sell the game at the same price that you ask on steam in other stores, like itch.io. So with the release of Chapter 1, I will change the price from "Pay what you want" to $8.99, like it is on steam. I know this sounds pretty horrible, and I agree with you, but this is the only way. The only other option would have been to completely remove the game from itch.io, which I really don't want to do. I like itch.io and the community here is simply amazing.

The good news is that if you already bought or own the game in general, you don't have to worry about this. All future updates and everything else for the game will be free for you, there will never be any additional costs for updates or quality of life things etc. All future chapters will be free if you own the game! And just a little reminder, it's worth joining the discord ;).

Sorry of this news got you hyped up for the update. It will most likely be ready next week!
