So, I keep seeing comments about My New Memories in the Devlogs. Is this a separate game hosted elsewhere, a patreon exclusive, or something not released yet aside from some renders?
I only ask because My New Family is so good I want to play anything the creator makes.
I've an issue and am hoping that you could help me solve it.. I've been facing this problem ever since my phone got the latest Android update. First of all I'm no more able to find the saved files i.e. internal storage/ Android/ Data and then nothing, there are no folders at all of all my apps. And none of my folders are hidden.
Moreover, I already had 0.13 installed and now that I am unable to get the saved files from the above mentioned path I'm afraid to uninstall it, and now when I'm trying to install 0.14, it isn't installing the new update.
Hm, I think your best bet is just to delete the app and try to install 0.14 that way...
Your savegames should be in Android/Data/RenPy/MyNewFamily-somenumbers OR in Android/Data/my.n.family/. If these folders are not there they are probably gone :/.
I think it has got to do something with the latest Android update... And you are right, I can't see these folders but all my apps are working... I just didn't wanna delete the app because MNF has got so much story content that it'll take me around three hours to get to the latest version even if I put it on Auto and increase the auto speed to it's fullest.... 😔😔😔😔.... Sooner or later everyone who has got an android phone will face this issue.... So be careful everyone until we have gotten a solution for this.....
That's not entirely correct though because I'm also using the latest android update and don't have this issue.
You can also enable "Skip unseen text" in the options and just skip all the text until you reach the part where you left off last time. This shouldn't take longer than 5 or 10 minutes.
My advise is to ALWAYS delete the old version you have before trying to install a new version. Your savegames should always be secured like that because they are stored outside the game folder. As soon as you try to install a new version while the old version is still installed you might corrupt these savefiles.

Apart from chapter 1 and 2 which are pretty much twice the size of the rest of the chapters, each chapter took me an average of about 3 hours to play. It took 33 hours to play all 9 chapters. I've played it a couple of times before so I wasn't going slow.

Reused stuff, man. It happens a lot due to Honey Select. Sandra also wore a jacket which Kali from Harem Hotel has as her standard outfit. It's normal.
I have never been so emotionally invested in a visual novel. It's not even sexy to me anymore, everything just feels right. Fapping would ruin the moments the characters have lmaaaaoo.

Hi, i downloaded the android version. I started to install it. The game installs till approxinately 90% and a message appears saying: app could not be installed. Any solutions?
I'm having trouble with the patch on an android device.(LG G8 ThinQ) I start with the patch on 0.11 and have it through the entire version but as soon as I update its gone. Even if I load a save with the patch it's gone. This is only an issue with the mobile version as far as I can tell. Is there a fix or is this a first?
TLDR: My advice for anyone starting a new play through is to accept EVERYTHING. Saying NO doesn't unlock alternatives, you don't miss anything by saying YES.

Ok. I've just finished playing through the update on my two different play throughs and I've noticed some inconsistencies.
The two different play throughs diverged at the very important decision you make with Sandra in the Spa (trying to avoid spoilers).
The route where the MC declines her has some inconsistencies in this update. Mostly involving dialogue that references things that haven't happened on this route but did in the other.
Specifically, In the "Decline" route, Lucy is suddenly on her period and it's completely normal where previously she said that she stopped having them years ago and wasn't bothered about it. Only in the "Accept" route is there a conversation where she tells MC that they have started again.
Then in the morning of day 3, Lucy mentions watching Sandra and MC together the previous day, but that doesn't happen in the "Decline" route.
That's enough for now but that's only the first 3 days of the update.
And then there is giving Elaine a second chance, on the "Decline" route the MC talks about it with Lucy but never actually does anything about it, probably because he only visits Elaine on the "Accept" route.
Then on the "Decline" route all of a sudden there is a cold pizza in the house with no explanation of where it came from. The MC is asked to pick up the pizza on the way back from visiting Elaine on the "Accept" route.
Yeah this one was confusing to me the only thing I ever declined was the spa thing and for me there was barely any content in this update and like you said some of it made no sense. It's frustrating as I have two main saves with the different tanja paths but both declined that so I'm probably going to have to start again with both of those paths
Those things will most likely be fixed once the harem route is complete and the harem includes Sandra being pregnant :). I usually try to fix those on the go but sometimes a flag check slips by and you get dialogue that doesn't make sense. Since I release monthly I can only fill the harem route with enough content to make the update content filled, else the update would be pretty short ^^.
Being a bit of a dev myself I appreciate that. But you certainly weren't kidding when you said there was a lot of content in this release.
Personally, I'm looking forward to the trip to the old city with the Gingers and what the next boat trip will be like. I also can't wait to see where things are going with Melissa and Anna.
You people REALLY need to stop complaining about this shit time and time again. Didn't you get that ONLY THE MOTHERFUCKING HAREM ROUTE IS FUCKING AVAILABLE? If Killer worked his ass off on, let's say, 10 routes at the same time (I know that there are a lot more than that according to the number of main and side characters), the updates would be meaningless content-wise. I'm sure that once MNF is done, Killer won't stop working on it even if My New Memories is released. There will be updates, new routes, new choices, damn if anything he might even make a female character route considering the talent shown on both code and story development. So, please, stop complaining about the same thing every fucking update like a big number of people also do and just go full harem. Don't want to? Great. You're not forced to, just wait until the game is done so the other routes start being implemented. Make your choice instead of hate.
I've been really looking forward to this. I'm currently in the middle of something but as SOON as that's done I'll be playing this. I think it's going to be a LONG night!

are you talking about the incest patch? if yes then it's pretty simple, when you download the patch (should be named lovetime.rpyc), move it into your My New Family folder, then into the folder labeled game, simple as that.
If you aren't talking about the incest patch, then you're gonna have to specify what patch you're talking about.
Hey Killer 7, i got an idea for you to solve your No Incest problem. I've played games like A Town Uncovered, House Chores and Life in Woodchester, where patreon banned incestuous themes, the way they got around the issue, was by allowing players to decide the relationship between the main character and the characters that are supposed to be related to the mc. That way, people can choose to enable incestuous content or not, and you'll be able to indirectly add in incestuous content without violating Patreon's Terms of Service.
E.g, at the start of the game, when the mc meets or mentions the relative, the game would ask the player what their relationship with the relative is. The default choice would be something like landlady, but players could be given the option of changing it to mother.
Sorry, bad wording on my part, i don't mean options, as in multiple choice. But options, as in being able to type in what the relationship between characters is.
The main issue with that which program, he is using for coding it. Some coding programs makes it so complicated, you want it simple. That's why I like Python about that
RenPy already lets you put your name in, putting roles in shouldn't be any more complicated (as a concept, going back and replacing already existing instances of the roles could be tedious work)
Can someone tell me when i can start Tanja's route? do i have to go through with the prank to even start it? i just got back from the vacation and wanna know if i need to load back or keep pushing through

On PC if you have 0.11 version you can enable the patch if you save after that you can load that in 0.14 and have the patch enabled

I was interested through out the entire time I was playing the update. However like most times I wasn't a fan of where it ended off

They already had an unlock code and got rid of it, so multiple choice probably wouldn't work. Being able to type custom roles might though.
