Kinda weird how the unpatched version of this game has done some sort of search and replace magic and changed everyone to tenants and landlords and old landladies (whatever the hell that is) and a television show called "Household Guy" which looks oddly familiar.
I mean, if itch has a policy against publishing stuff with incest content, honestly, that's fine with me; I don't really see the appeal. I mean, I don't fantasize about tribbing with my sisters.
But here's a suggestion (take it or leave it) on how your game could be playable (and actually make sense) out of the box with minimal effort:
In the non-incest version, add in a line about how "your parents thought they couldn't have children before your mum realised your dad was an asshole and she adopted you." Or something like that.
And boom, no longer technically incest, but you can still call your half sisters "half sisters" and your mother "mother" and it's still kind of taboo to sleep with an adopted sibling, so the story doesn't even have to change. Except maybe that one scene where the protagonist and his sisters wonder why he doesn't have red hair.
Like I said, take it or leave it. I like that the incest is optional but as it stands, while the story is pretty good, it suffers from the readability issues you get when you just do a mass find and replace.
Like seriously, it's an unreadable mess that only makes sense if you translate the words back to what they probably were originally as you read it. No offence.
You're right about incest being against Itch rules, therefore the Dev, Killer7, can't post the link on this page so some nice friendly internet-dweller has made this one.

I guess part of the problem is that Killer7 would have to remake pretty much all the code in the game to accommodate a 'SFW' version and rework the android versions as well as the PC/Mac ones whilst simultaneously working on his other game, My New Memories. Looking at it, it looks like it might just be a bit too much (at the moment - who knows what will happen when My New Family is fully completed after the Epilogue update that is coming next) for one Dev to do.

All I was saying is that he's obviously working on the incest version and replacing the dialogue with incomprehensible sanitized dialogue after the fact. Your patch just changes it back. How about instead of replacing all the dialogue, he adds one or two lines at the beginning and deletes a couple lines elsewhere and leaves everything else the exact same?
Seems like less work to me than sanitizing every line of dialogue in the game, but I may be wrong. My Python is not that great.

K7 have you ever heard of a game called 14 years later, if not you should check it out because it is ripping off this story, The one issue I have is that sometimes it doesnt feel like the decisions that are made seem to matter. As an example I didnt want a relationship with Dianna but all of the sudden I am now meeting her and saying the ball is in her court. Seems odd, would have preferreed that didnt happen. Anyway, great game and looki ng forward to more.

It's more likely a choice of the developer and not the site. I have in the past, just found the file that has the "Landlady" or "Landlord" relations and simply modified them with the correct terms of identifying the characters and ran it accordingly. Never heard this before. My play through v.23 went very smoothly. Are you using mods or something? If not, maybe it could be the save your using being corrupt. I really wouldn't know what the problem is, but usually when things like this happen it's usually attributed to a corrupt save. I am not saying this is the problem, try to get the latest save file for v.2.3 and then play it from there (making sure all the girls / women are pregnant and your dating all of them).
just go to f95 site, look for this game and download the ic patch from there. I think it's a universal patch, meaning it should work in both v.14 and v.23
There has to be another place to download this. I cannot download anything from ich.io. When I try to DL anything from here it stops at around 70% then says forbidden. I usually can find the games i want other places but i cant find the .14 download anywhere
The choices do mean something. They determine if you even have relationships in the beginning and later decide who you want to have a relationship with. Not every game has to have evil game over choices.

This is a damn good game and probably one of my favourites on the platform.
The characters are so interesting, the story is very well written, gameplay is fantastic.
